Annual Campaign 2011-2012
We have two exciting projects in the works and greatly appreciate your support!

Last year, through your generosity, we met our goal of contributing $25,000 to the student netbook project. We are proud that the classes of 2014 and 2015 will be able to use these tools throughout their four years at Coe-Brown. In order to make these netbooks even more useful and relevant, we hope to purchase classroom management software to be used by CBNA faculty members in conjunction with the netbooks. This software allows teachers to demonstrate directly on student computers with screen-sharing technology, use chat to help any student through a tough problem right from the teacher’s desk and guide students to appropriate web sites.

The second project consists of engaging a local architect to create some preliminary conceptual drawings for a future arts facility. These drawings will help Coe-Brown as it seeks funding (through a capital campaign and other sources) for this major campus expansion. When the Academy eventually begins construction, it will be in two phases. The first phase will add much-needed classroom space while the second phase will incorporate a state-of-the-art theater and exhibit space for the performing and visual arts programs. Harriman Architects and Engineers of Portland and Manchester has been selected to develop the conceptual drawings. Your gift to this year’s annual campaign will be the first step in realizing our dreams for the future!

Your donation to the Annual Campaign also supports the grant program that is made available to CBNA faculty and staff each year to help expand existing programs. These grants cover the areas of Academics, Administration, Arts, Athletics and Vocational Education. Your gift is tax deductible and supports Coe-Brown Northwood Academy’s ongoing commitment to the education of its students.
