Criteria for student acceptance into Assisted Study
- May not be performing
academically or socially at full potential
- May
be showing signs of disorganization
- May
be failing to complete homework assignments on time
- May
be showing lack of effort or motivation
- May
be referred by a parent, teacher or the student involved
- May
be struggling with adjustment following transfer from another school
- Must
be placed by Guidance Counselor, Headmaster or Education Board
- Must
not be receiving special education services.
Criteria
for discharge of students from Assisted Study - By
recommendation of the Guidance Counselor, Headmaster or Education Board
- At
the request of the parent in consultation with guidance
- At
the request of the student, with parental approval, upon qualification for honors
study (all 1’s and 2’s in effort and conduct with no failing grades)
- Upon
acceptance into the Special Education Program
