Expedition is moving on to the next phase:
The
following are the next steps Expedition students and their families need to take:
1.
Physical Clearance:
Schedule
a physical examination with a Physician or Registered Nurse Practitioner.
- This is a strict requirement for participation in
the trip and therefore the course.
- This must be a current physical examination.
o
Pages 1-3 of the
Physical Clearance form are also the Athletics
clearance form for the 2008-09 year.
o
Page 4 is specific
to Expedition.
PLEASE NOTE:
Physical
exams scheduled after June 1st, 2008 can also be honored for the 2008-09
athletic year. Therefore any student planning
to participate in athletics next year should schedule an exam between June 1st
and June 20th (preferably closer
to June 1st).
2.
Emergency Form:

Complete the Emergency
Form, which contains some special considerations for Expedition.
3.
Participation
Contract:

Students and parents/guardians:
Closely read the terms of participation, sign it and return it to Mr. White.
4.
Course Fee:
·
Pay the course deposit
of $50 by April 18th, 2008
·
Pay the remainder
of the course fee of $150 by May 16th, 2008.

Make checks payable
to CBNA.
5.
The Project:
·
Students are strongly
encouraged to start considering ideas for their projects, following the basic
guidelines in the syllabus. Students will
meet with Mr. White to explore such ideas and begin their projects.
6.
Stay Tuned:
- Mr. White will be emailing students to instruct
on further steps. Students will need to
gather currently possessed clothing and gear for a meeting specific to this.
Mr. White will also present available options to purchase and rent items
at minimal cost.
