COE-BROWN THEATRE STUDENTS VOLUNTEER TO
TRICK OR TREAT
BECAUSE HUNGER IS A VERY SCARY THING
NORTHWOODThe International Thespian
Society (ITS), a division of the Educational Theatre Association
(EdTA), is pleased to announce the participation of Coe-Brown
Northwood Academys Thespian Troupe 5976 in the Trick
or Treat so Kids Can Eat program. The program is a
national community service event for ITS-member schools
to collect canned and dry goods for local charities and
food banks. Thespian troupes from across the state and across
the country are participating in the programs third
year.
Theatre students from Coe-Brown will be wearing
costumes and pins with special logos to collect food donations
during the local Trick or Treat activities on October 30
in Strafford from 5-8 pm, and on October 31 in Northwood
from 5-8 pm to support Charley McGowens Senior Project.
These donations will go to benefit the Northwood Food Pantry.
Thousands of pounds of food will be collected in one night
across the state, giving organizations the ability to help
thousands of local people. If you are willing to donate
non perishable food items, have them ready for collection
during the Trick or Treat hours. Food donations can also
be dropped off at Coe-Brown Northwood Academy until November
1, 2007, labeled with Trick or Treat so Kids Can Eat.
