COE-BROWN TEACHER BECOMES U.S. CITIZEN

NORTHWOOD— Coe-Brown Northwood Academy Spanish teacher Dolores Cerecedo-Newman was honored recently at a school assembly after becoming a United States citizen. Ms. Cerecedo-Newman, who hails from Madrid, Spain, has been living in the U.S. for the past ten years. Student Council Vice-President Kyle Starkweather, and President Andrea Brown presented Ms. Cerecedo-Newman with an American flag on behalf of the entire Coe-Brown community. Ms. Cerecedo-Newman told the students that she is most looking forward to voting for the first time in the U.S. in the upcoming primary elections.
