TWO COE-BROWN STUDENTS NAMED AS NATIONAL MERIT SCHOLARSHIP FINALISTS

NORTHWOOD—Headmaster David Smith of Coe-Brown Northwood Academy announced today that two students, Matthew Blake and Rebecca Rubinstein have been named as finalists in the National Merit Scholarship Program.

Of the 1.4 million juniors from across the United States who took the PSAT test last fall, the qualification process has narrowed down the participants to just 15,000 finalists nationwide.

From this select group, CBNA seniors Matthew Blake and Rebecca Rubinstein have earned distinction as finalists. They are now part of the final round, where they may be named one of 8,200 National Merit Scholarship award winners this spring, sharing in $34 million in scholarships and awards.
