COE-BROWN STUDENTS TO HELP PANAMANIAN CHILDREN

NORTHWOOD— As part of their senior portfolio projects, a requirement for graduation, three Coe-Brown Academy students will be traveling to Panama during their April vacation to deliver donations to the needy children in a small rural school in the Darien forest. Tyler Crabtree, Paige Davis, and Erica Page are collecting backpacks, school supplies, shoes and boots, and cash donations.

All three seniors visited the Panamanian school last year and were so moved by the poverty and need in the region that they immediately began planning these projects on the plane ride home.

The students are eagerly seeking donations from the community, and will accept them up to the date of their departure on April 19th. Donations can be dropped off at the main office or arrangements can be made to have them picked up by calling their project advisor, Mrs. Cumings at 942-5531 x 208.
