Staff
or faculty members posting content directly to the CBNA website
using access granted by the Webmaster, will be individually responsible
for complying with these guidelines.
Subject
Matter
All subject matter on Academy web pages should relate to curriculum,
instruction, school-authorized activities or general information
that is appropriate to the CBNA community.
- No
personal web pages may be published, nor shall there be any
links to personal web pages.
- No
names of students can be used.
- Photographs
of students are not permitted.
- Published
email addresses are restricted to staff members.
- Web
pages may not include any information that indicates the physical
location of a student at a given time.
- Teachers/Staff
and Administrators may be identified by name, and their photos
may appear on the Web site, with their consent.
Editorial
Policy
It is important to publish only the kind of information we wouldn't
mind seeing on the front page of the local newspaper tomorrow.
- Information
that is private or that can reasonably be considered private
will not be posted on the Academy web site.
- All
Web page work must be free of spelling and grammatical errors.
- Web
pages may not contain objectionable material or point (link)
directly to objectionable material.

Materials used on the school web pages must conform to copyright
and intellectual property laws. (If in doubt. see guidelines
(.pdf)). When posting copyrighted material, the source must
be sited.
Unacceptable
content includes:
- Any
material intended for business or to generate personal financial
gain
- Material
that may be deemed inappropriate as judged by the Headmaster
- Information
that could knowingly cause damage, danger or disruption
- Any
information that violates Academy policies, software licensing
agreements, contractual agreements, copyright, or any local,
state or federal law
- Information
that could be used to compromise the security or availability
of Academy resources
- Anything
that provides information about how to commit any criminal or
illegal act
- Any
misleading labeling of material or links
- The
portrayal of any material as officially representing or sanctioned
by the Academy without proper authorization
- Any
political lobbying
- Any
personal contact information without expressed written consent
from the individual. Personal contact information includes address,
telephone, school address, work address, and e-mail address.
